Tim Howard is a versatile defender who hails from the Eastern Suburbs Hockey Club in Brisbane. The vocal youngster was part of Australia’s gold medal winning 2014 Youth Olympics side and was a leader of the 2016 Junior World Cup team.

Howard was part of the Development Squad in 2017, before earning his international debut after good displays at the 2017 Australian Hockey League with runners-up Queensland. Howard debuted for the Kookaburras against New Zealand in Bendigo at the International Festival of Hockey.

The youngster is a keen golfer and cites Roger Federer as his childhood hero.
