Making her first international appearance for the Hockeyroos during a test series against New Zealand in 2014, Georgina Morgan was ecstatic when she saw her name on the list for the 2015 national senior squads. In later 2015, Morgan’s hard work was rewarded when she was named in the Hockeyroos’ 2016 Olympic training squad.

Starting hockey at the age of six, Morgan looks up to fellow teammates and New South Wales representatives Emily Smith and Kellie White for guidance in the team.

The second tallest player in the Hockeyroos squad after Jodie Kenny, the defender studies exercise physiology in the hope to take up a clinic position in Physiotherapy further down the track.

Morgan otherwise known as ‘Gee-Mags’ was a club representative for her local cricket club North during her teenage years.
