Discovering hockey at the age of five through his family’s passion for the sport, Flynn Ogilvie made his senior international debut in November 2014 against India in Perth.

The Ogilvie family features six children (four sons and two daughters), all of whom have turned out for the University of Wollongong Hockey Club. Also keen indoor players, Flynn played alongside his brothers Kurt and Heath at the 2015 FIH Indoor World Cup in Germany.

Fellow ‘Gong’ resident Tristan White took Ogilvie under his wing since he joined the high performance program in Perth. Ogilvie, who loves travel, injured his hamstring at the 2017 Azlan Shah Cup but successfully returned from injury in early 2018.
