World Cup - Bronze – 2022


Despite playing hockey since the age of four, Renee’s first State team was at Under-18’s. Renee’s whole family played hockey but she credits her dad, who played for New Zealand, for helping her get to where she is now. In 2018, Renee finished third in the Hockeyroos Player of the Year standings, following a mixed year which was highlighted by the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, after she was forced to miss the Champions Trophy with a wrist injury. In 2021, Renee underwent major hip surgery, following the Tokyo Olympics and she is now eyeing her 2nd Olympic Games with the side. Off the pitch, Renee’s completed a Double Degree in Accounting & Law at Curtin University.
