The most experienced team member in the Hockeyroos side, Jane has enjoyed a decorated and lengthy career and is eyeing her third Olympic Games in Paris. The two-time Olympian credits her father Bob and brother for her entry into hockey. At the age of six she began playing in a mixed gender competition, although the rough and tumble of playing with the boys nearly put her off. But before too long she was selected for the Champions Trophy and her Olympic debut in 2016, along with being selected to captain the Hockeyroos for the Trans-Tasman Trophy and the International Festival of Hockey in light of Madonna Blyth’s retirement after the Rio Games. Jane captained the Hockeyroos in front of her home crowd in Adelaide in a series against Japan in late 2017, but missed the 2018 World Cup due to a hamstring injury. She is a qualified Occupational Therapist.
