Flynn discovered hockey at the age of five through his family’s passion for the sport. The Ogilvie family features six children (four sons and two daughters), all of whom have turned out for the University of Wollongong Hockey Club. Flynn played alongside his brothers Kurt and Heath at the 2015 FIH Indoor World Cup in Germany. He injured his hamstring at the 2017 Azlan Shah Cup but successfully returned from injury in early 2018, enjoying a fruitful year as part of the Commonwealth Games, Champions Trophy and World Cup campaigns. He missed the FIH Pro League 2022-23 Season due to work commitments but is now back and hunting gold in Paris.

WHAT HIS TEAMMATES SAY… “Flynn is a creative, fast clinical player…whether that’s as a midfielder or striker. His basics are always on point…he’s smart and always one step ahead.” Ky Willott
