Claire made her debut for the Hockeyroos in 2022, not long after she was nominated 2021 Queensland Junior Sports Star of the Year. At just 16, Claire played in the Hockey One league for the Brisbane Blaze and immediately made a name for herself. While she was winning Player of the Tournament and numerous age grade Championships, she was noticed for the Hockeyroos and has since gone on to win silver at the World Cup and the Commonwealth Games. Now, she’s gunning for her first Olympics with the side in 2024. One of her teammates in Mackay was recently quoted in a local newspaper, “Claire is burning the house down in world hockey.” She has also studied Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) at The University of Queensland. |
