ALEISHA POWERPERTHAGE: 27 ACHIEVEMENTS Commonwealth Games – Silver – 2022 |
||||
Aleisha had a tough start to 2024 where she missed out on playing at the FIH Pro League in India due to an injury. She made a welcome return in April at the Perth International Festival of Hockey where Hockeyroos coach Katrina Powell had Aleisha and Jocelyn Bartram on a half game rotate. Aleisha made her Hockeyroos debut in 2017 and had to wait until 2021 to make her next Hockeyroos appearance (in the Trans-Tasman Series against New Zealand). In 2022, following Rachel Lynch’s retirement, Aleisha played every match in the 2022 Commonwealth Games, including the gold medal match against England. Off the pitch, Aleisha is an Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Mental Fitness Ambassador. |
