Return to Hockey Guidelines and Resource Hub Webinar

Following the launch of the COVID Safety Resource Hub, Hockey Australia will hold a webinar this Thursday 28 May at 8pm AEST.

Club administrators are invited to join the webinar to be hosted by Hockey Australia GM – Legal, Strategy & Growth, Michael Johnston and experienced sport executive Iain Roy, with the objective of providing information and assistance on the following:

“We know our fantastic volunteer administrators are being asked to take on a lot to see the safe resumption of hockey,” said Johnston.

“This will be an opportunity to help administrators understand where to go for support, and how to use the tools and resources we’ve developed in partnership with Sport Australia.”

The Return to Sport Toolkit, which was released last Sunday by Sport Australia in conjunction with Hockey Australia, includes a comprehensive checklist that provides advice for local administrators, along with a suite of template documents to help Plan, Prepare, Respond and Recover upon the resumption of training with an eye to eventually returning to play.

Hockey Australia is dedicated to providing support to clubs and associations as they work through the return to hockey in a safe environment, and this webinar is a terrific opportunity for club administrators and anyone who is interested.

A recording will also be made of the webinar for those unable to join on the evening, which will be posted online.
