Calling all Australian hockey fans. Nominate the three Kookaburras Sports Dads now for the Philips Sports Dad of the Year award.

The current Kookaburras squad is proud to have three dads in their ranks – Jake Whetton, Eddie Ockenden and Tyler Lovell.

Kookaburras legends Jamie Dwyer and Mark Knowles have previously featured as finalists.

Last year’s award was won by rugby league player Benji Marshall, who donated his winnings to Ronald McDonald House Charities in Sydney, the funds helping the facility manage the recent changes brought about by COVID-19.
