Hockey Gold

Leading up to Tokyo 2020, get hooked on Hockey Gold, a special weekly segment featuring a host of Kookaburras and Hockeyroos stars.

Hockey Gold will be posted on Kookaburras and/or Hockeyroos social media channels at 5.30pm AEDT every Tuesday night as anticipation builds towards the Olympics.

Hockey Gold will comprise of the following segments on rotation:

• One on One
  An in depth interview with a current Hockeyroo or Kookaburra. Get to know about Australia’s world class hockey players on and off the field.
• Skills & Drills
  A Kookaburra or Hockeyroo will demonstrate and teach a specific skill or drill to help your hockey prowess…or give you something to practise and impress your friends with.
• Hockey Hits
  A Kookaburra or Hockeyroo will provide five of their favourite songs based on a certain category. Whether it’s pump up tunes before a game, songs to chill out to, their favourite Australian songs or other.
• Playing the Field
  Find out what certain players get up to and enjoy doing away from the hockey field. You never know, you might share a common interest with Renee Taylor or Blake Govers.

So set a reminder for every Tuesday at 5.30pm AEDT to check out the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos socials channels.

Also keep an eye out for the countdown posts as the Olympics draws closer.

First cab off the rank is a special one on one interview with Kookaburras forward Tom Craig. Part 1 comes out at 5.30pm AEDT tomorrow (Tuesday afternoon), with Part 2 and Part 3 to follow on Wednesday and Thursday.
