Hockey Australia has launched a new licensee program to provide prospective companies with an entry level partnership that delivers a suite of benefits of being associated with the sport.
Atlas Hockey, through Hockey International, is the first brand to take up the opportunity, committing to an initial two-year term.
“Hockey Australia is delighted to partner with long term hockey manufacturer Atlas Hockey,” said Hockey Australia CEO, David Pryles.
“Atlas is a well known and highly reputable brand so it is great to have an official association with them in what will certainly drive awareness of both parties.
“Launching this licensee program is a fantastic opportunity for companies to align themselves with everything that is great about hockey, from being a really family orientated sport, proudly gender equal, inclusive and with a reputation and history of success on the international stage.”
“We look forward to Atlas Hockey being the first of many to take advantage of this unique partnership offering.”
Atlas Hockey is a brand of Hockey International, which was established in 1992 in Perth.
“Since 1992 Atlas has always worked hard to support the hockey community and we are extremely proud to be partnering with Hockey Australia and excited about the opportunities this brings for us,” said Jinder Chouhan, owner of Atlas Hockey.
“From grassroots clubs to the national teams we strive to do the best we can to support and grow the sport of hockey in Australia.”
Benefits of becoming a licensee of Hockey Australia include an affiliation with iconic national teams the Hockeyroos and Kookaburras, access to utilise national athletes as brand ambassadors, brand awareness through Hockey Australia’s array of digital media properties, plus the capability of having a retail shop at all Hockey Australia hosted tournaments and events.
