Hockey Australia is running a Level 2 Goal Keeper Course (Advanced Support). The course will be led by Steven Welch in Hobart and designed by Dave Staniforth as the National Goal Keeper Coach. The course is designed so participants can complete the Development Support GK Course and the Advanced Support GK Course concurrently. 

The course will consist of one classroom session, a Hockey One GK in-game analysis, review, practical session and a post course presentation. The practical components will take place in Hobart during the U13s Carnival. 

- Introduction 5pm-6pm, Friday 30th September

- 2x HockeyOne Games (Tassie Tigers vs Brisbane Blaze) - tickets included

- Hockey One Review, 1:00pm-2:00pm, Saturday 1st October

- Practical Session, 2:00pm-3:30pm, Saturday 1st October

- Classroom Presentation, 3:30pm-5:30pm, Saturday 1st October

- Post Course Group Work & Presentation

To complete the Advanced Support GK Coach Course, participants will be required to attend the course and complete all course work, as outlined above. As well as a completed Development Support (Level 1) GK accreditation.

All participants will also need to have registered in HockeyEd for the Advanced - Support Coach https://hockeyed.hockey.org.au/course/view.php?id=9. This step can be done at any stage while completing the course.
