Naomi McCarthy (High Performance Committee Member)

Experience: Naomi is currently a Manager Sport Engagement at Griffith Sports College and an Independent Director of the Queensland Rugby League.

A Senior International Water Polo athlete from 1994-2004, Naomi is a two-time Olympian (2000 and 2004), winning an Olympic gold medal as part of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. She also participated in four World Championships, winning a bronze medal in 1998 and four World Cips, winning gold in 1995, bronze in 1997 and silver in 1999.

She is a QSport Hall of Fame Member and was inducted into the Water Polo Australia Hall of Fame.
