The series will be played in Hobart, Tasmania from Thursday January 28 until Sunday January 31.

Following on from the Kookaburras recent Champions Trophy victory in Melbourne, this series will serve as a warm up for the 2010 Hockey World Cup which will begin in New Delhi, India from February 28.

Luke Doerner, David Guest and Mark Paterson were unavailable for selection due to injury.

This series will see Kieran Govers play his first international match for the Kookaburras and will allow all players an opportunity to place their claim for World Cup selection against a quality opposition.

Series schedule:
Game 1- Thursday 28 January- 7pm
Game 2- Saturday 30 January- 5pm
Game 3- Sunday 31 January- 7pm

All matches will be played at the Tasmanian Hockey Centre.
